When the Stampede unveiled Rainbow Trout, by Jeff de Boer, on June 1, 2016 in ENMAX Park, it was a moment I will never forget. The Stampede's Public Art committee took a chance in its year-round community outreach and ventured away from the traditional western bronze statue.
The fish represents the relationship between the river, the park and the community. It is vibrant, modern and welcoming. It is art that tells a Stampede story in unexpected ways.

Thank you to the entire Public Art committee for creating this proud moment that will last many years.
