The Event Volunteer Coordination Committee will manage and grow an event volunteer platform to complement and support the organization’s existing committee volunteer infrastructure, engage our community and attract diversity, and re-engage former Stampede volunteers. The Committee will strategically and proactively identify, develop, coordinate, promote and execute initiatives to identify Stampede events and engage event volunteers, leaders and specialists for year-round participation.
Collaborate with committees across the existing volunteer infrastructure to identify existing and potential new events for Stampede participation.
Collaborate with committees across the existing volunteer infrastructure to establish a formalized database of existing event volunteers who may be recorded and sourced through the corporate event volunteer platform.
Identify and execute recruitment strategies for greater community participation through the event volunteer platform while promoting a better understanding of the Stampede as a year-round organization.
Identify and establish a chair pool to support leadership requirements for event volunteer participation at events.
Identify and establish pools of special expertise to support the existing committee volunteer infrastructure.
Support the existing committee volunteer infrastructure by assisting with resourcing of event volunteers/leaders/and specialists for events and special activities.
