This free event shortage of Stampede spirit felt from neighbours, families,welcomed the community to participate in all the wonderful volunteers and community partners.activities, entertainment and cultural fun.Sharing Stampede Traditionswith New Calgarians For the third year, the Pop-Up Stampede initiative brought a taste of Stampede spirit to the community. In collaboration with Immigrant Services Calgary, the Stampedes Community Projects& Development Committee visited more than two dozen families new to Calgary in June. Calgary Stampede Royalty, Harry the Horse, Stampede volunteers and horses of all sizes visited each family in their communities for a true Stampede welcome, including a gift of a pancake breakfast in a box from ENMAX and a White Hat Ceremony. Following these visits, families were invited to attend the Evening Show at Stampede 2023 on Tim Hortons Family Day.The Calgary Stampede also welcomed newcomers and sharedthe spirit and story behind The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth!
