Each year, Queens Alumni hosts four unique Giddy Up programssharing notable Stampede experiences in asensory-friendly environmentand 2022 was no different.In April, the Committee hosted Giddy Up Aggie Days, providing an opportunity for Giddy Up guests to learn about agriculture and get up close with farm animals. June saw Giddy Up Strides, a one-on-one equine-assisted learning opportunity for a number of children in our community with Cerebral Palsy. Pancakes, music, ag barn and Midway fun made for a sensory-friendly morning filled with smiles at Giddy Up Grits during Stampede in July. And from Santa to crafts, games and sleigh Santa makes an appearance at Giddy Up Christmas.rides, holiday cheer was all around at the Committees Giddy Up Christmas in December. A Year of Year-Round EventsBeyond Stampede 2022, we hosted many major events on Stampede Park this past year, from Calgary Expo to Monster Jam to Screamfest to the Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival to Christmas Glow and so many more. All of these fantastic events are just a few of the things that contribute towards making Stampede Park a world-class, year-round gathering place for our community.
