b'Shareholders2024 CALGARY STAMPEDE SHAREHOLDERS LIST 2024 PatronsHER HONOUR, THE HONOURABLETHE HONOURABLE Salma Lakhani, AOE, B.Sc.Danielle Smith, PC Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Premier of AlbertaCalgary Stampede Royalty As ambassadors of the Calgary Stampede, the Calgary Stampede Princess and First Nations Princess attend up to 400 events year-round, with almost 130 of those events taking place during our annual celebration in July.In 2024, the Stampede was honoured to have First Nations Princess Margaret Holloway and Stampede Princess Brooke Fielding as ambassadors.Margaret Holloway of the Stoney Nakoda is a 22-year-old jingle dancer raised in the traditional ways of the Stoney values. She is the granddaughter of long-time and respected Elders and Tipi Holders, Eddie and Elsie Holloway of Tipi 24. Holloway is also a devoted student who recently started her university studies in business. With a passion for creating and designing her ownregalia and beadwork, Holloway wanted to be a strong voice for Indigenous youth during her reign and beyond, helping to advance her community and preserve the traditional way of life.A born and raised Albertan, 23-year-old Brooke Fielding started riding on her familys acreage in Water Valley at just eight years old. Brooke has experience in both Western and English disciplines, having competitively shown in jumping, dressage, and eventing. She is also no stranger to the Stampede, having been part of the Calgary Stampede Ranch Riders and the Calgary Stampede Showriders. Brooke is also a graduate of the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce. 2024 Calgary Stampede Royalty.The Stampede was fortunate to have the duo sharing their love of the Stampede and community spirit by engaging the community throughout the year. A Gathering PlaceWe acknowledge that we are gathered on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Piikani, Kainai), the Tsuutina, and the yxe Nakoda (Bearspaw, Chiniki, Goodstoney) First Nations.
