Hannah Smart

Vocal Instructor

Hannah Smart is a highly trained, powerhouse triple threat performer. Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Hannah began training and performing in front of audiences at the age of 7.
Continuing her studies in the performing arts through post-secondary, Hannah is a graduate of Randolph College for the Performing Arts located in Toronto, Ontario. A few of Hannah’s most recent credits include the North American Tour of We Will Rock You where she made her Off-Broadway Debut at Madison Square Garden. Other selected credits include lead vocals with wedding and event band Side One, background vocals with Souls in Rhythm, Swing/Dance Captain in The Rocky Horror Picture Show (The LOT) and Mrs. Potiphar/Ensemble in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (The LOT).

Hannah is absolutely thrilled to be joining the faculty of The Young Canadians. She began her
journey with The Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede in 2009 and is well known for her
multiple lead performances in their productions including The Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show as well as their 2013 touring show Maple Leaf Forever which debuted in Disneyland. Hannah most recently had the pleasure of returning to her favorite stage performing in the 2022 Bell Grandstand Show AMPLIFIED.
