Lindsay Weryshko

Manager, Young Canadians School of Performing Arts
2022 - Present

is a born and raised Calgarian who just so happens to be an alumni of program, beginning her  Young Canadians journey as a Senior Singer in 1999. After being a member of the cast for 2 years, she joined the vocal faculty as rehearsal accompanist and vocal instructor for 5 years. During that time she also supported the Grandstand Show during the Calgary Stampede as a Production Assistant.

She went on to join the Programming team of the Calgary Stampede in 2006, where she worked for nearly 15 years.  Throughout her Stampede career she created and produced incredible experiences for guests through her work on the Programming, Foundation and Sponsorship teams. Some of her notable experience includes acting as the lead talent buyer of the Coca-Cola and Nashville North stages from 2008-2016, producing the 100 Year Centennial Stampede Kick-Off at Olympic Plaza, being the lead event manager for the CS Foundations' inaugural fundraising gala in 2018 "Strong Youth, Stronger Community," and producing dozens of other public and internal events, concerts, and community celebrations.

She holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Calgary and enjoys singing in choirs and playing the piano when possible.  In her spare time she is a very busy mom to 2 hilarious and adorable little boys, and decorates gourmet cookies.
