In addition to her formal training, Michelle has taken several workshops in dance both locally and internationally. In 2011, she travelled to China to perform in an international arts exchange. In 2013, Michelle attended ballet master classes in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Here, she studied under world-renowned teachers in Vagonova ballet. Michelle also attended classes at ISTD2 Studios in London in 2016 to study Modern Theatre. She has danced in Alberta Ballet’s “The Nutcracker” for five seasons as a member of the children’s cast. Most recently, Michelle spent nine months in London, UK studying at and working at Pineapple Dance Studios.

Michelle is excited to teach at The Young Canadians. With her fun-loving spirit and passion for dance, she hopes to pass on the same level of excellence in training to her students that she received from her teachers.
