Join the Showriders

Auditions for the Stampede Showriders are held each year to assess the abilities of the riders and the suitability of the horses. Members come from Calgary and the surrounding area and each must have previous riding experience, and as well must provide their own horse.

Team Auditions

Auditions for the 2027 season will take place October 17 and 18 in Strathmore, Alberta. Riders ages 14–21 with previous riding experience and their own horse are eligible to audition.

Those who are accepted into the program are able to earn High School Work Experience credits.
