Join the Showriders

Auditions for the Stampede Showriders are held each year to assess the abilities of the riders and the suitability of the horses. Members come from Calgary and the surrounding area and each must have previous riding experience, and as well must provide their own horse.

Team Auditions

Auditions for the 2026 season will be held on March 7 & 8, 2026 at the Nutrien Western Event Centre at Stampede Park, including a free clinic day on March 7. 

Auditions are open to all youth ages 14-21 and those who are accepted into the program are able to earn High School Work Experience credits.
