The Calgary Stampede Queens' Alumni Committee is proud to host Visiting Royalty from around Alberta, Canada and the world.

Applications for 2026 are now open until June 10! 

Criteria to be hosted by the Calgary Stampede Queens’ Alumni, July 2–5, 2026:

  • Applicants must be 18–25 years of age and hold a current Royal Title.
  • Applicants must be able to join us for the entire program, July 2–5, 2026.
  • Applicants who reside outside of Canada must have a valid passport to enter Canada.
  • Sponsorship will be for the first 12 approved applicants on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are applying for multiple Queens or Princesses for your organization, each individual is considered a separate applicant.
  • If you are a Rodeo Committee applying on behalf of a Royal not yet crowned by application deadline, you may fill out the form & submit the name/picture no later than June 10.


Calgary Stampede Queens’ Alumni Volunteers will act as Chaperones for the approved group. 

Due to budget restraints, no other Chaperones will be permitted to accompany their Royal to Alumni-escorted events. Chaperones may apply for accreditation (a maximum of 1 accreditation will be provided per Royal to their Chaperone).
 

  • Please be aware that the itinerary includes activities such as walking, dancing, and riding approximately 5 km/day.
  • The planned itinerary will happen rain or shine. Please pack weather appropriate attire (e.g. rain hats, sunscreen, and slickers)
     

For Visiting Royalty unable to join us for the full four-day program, you can still apply for Stampede Accreditation, upon request, to self-tour Stampede and join us for select events through RSVP.

Host Hotel

This year, we have once again partnered with Hotel Blackfoot as our host hotel for Visiting Royalty. Information on how to book a hotel room at a discounted rate of $325/night at our host hotel will be provided upon completion and approval of your application to the 2026 Visiting Royalty program. Your hotel room must be booked no later than 5 p.m. MST on June 2, 2026.

Once we receive your application and it has been approved, we will send you the code to book your room at the discounted rate. We ask that you only book to a maximum of 1 room per Title so that all the ladies have a chance to book at the discounted rate. 

Willing to share a room? The host hotel will try their best to accommodate this – please let the host hotel know upon booking. Rooms will be prioritized for the full program attendees. Airport pick-up can be organized through the host hotel. 

Please note: each Visiting Royalty is responsible for the cost of their own hotel and flights. Should you need help planning your travels please reach out to Candice. Candice is an Alumni member and will be a wonderful help with your plans.
