The Stampede Park Breakfast Events committee promotes western heritage and values by producing a community event that engages Calgary families and children in activities that enable us to celebrate in our back yard.
Specific Activities
Coordinate all catering and food preparation requirements to provide a free pancake breakfast to families and children attending the Calgary Stampede on BMO Kids Day.
Coordinate, contract and produce a 90-minute morning show featuring cross-promotional performances by existing on-park programming and performers (ie: Elbow River Camp dancers; Visiting Bands; Children’s Entertainment) that enhances the overall experience of the guests attending BMO Kids Day.
Coordinate and recruit community partners to participate through interactive displays setup on the tarmac.
Compile and solicit prizing donations from community groups and partners for a prize toss at the morning program.
Coordinate and recruit the attendance of community partners with mascots to enhance the overall atmosphere of the morning event.
Provide an opportunity for community and sponsor volunteers to be involved in a single-day commitment.
