The Youth Initiatives Committee supports AGWE programming of youth-related competitions that promote the importance and relevance of our Western Heritage and Culture as well as the Agri-Food industry.
Specific Activities
Support the planning and execution of an annual competition for youth that focuses on innovation related to agriculture.
Support the planning and execution of an annual public speaking competition that motivates youth to enhance their communication and presentation skills.
Support other youth initiatives as appropriate as the program grows.
Provide support to judges and contestants as needed before, during and after the event.
