Jordan Helwerda

Drum Major Instructor

Jordan was a performer with the Calgary Round up Band, The Calgary Stetsons Showband, the Calgary Stampede showband and the Blue Knights Drum Corps.

After aging out of the Blue Knights Jordan remained involved with the organization and spent time as the corps tour director, going on to become the assistant corps director (with a focus on the organization's leadership and member experience) and eventually the corps executive director. Jordan spent a total of 12 years on the staff of the Blue Knights, an organization that has shaped much of who he is. 

Outside of the marching arts, Jordan is a realtor serving Calgary and the surrounding areas. He, along with his business partner, operate one of the highest producing real estate teams in Calgary, the Calgaryism Real Estate team at Re/Max House of Real Estate. 

Jordan holds a BA in economics from the University of Calgary as well as numerous industry designations and awards, including being inducted into the Re/Max Hall of Fame in 2021 and being a Re/Max Diamond award winner for 2022.
