Josh Malate

Program Coordinator

Josh was a performer with the Bishop Grandin Marching Ghosts, Allegiance Elite Drum Corps, Stampede Showband and Blue Devils Drum Corps.

As an instructor, Josh led the Marching Ghosts as Program Coordinator for 7 years. Additionally, Josh was the founding director of Rhapsody Winter Corps, a 20-member WGI Winds ensemble with a Southern California WGI Regional victory in 2016.

Outside of the marching arts, Josh is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating officer of Athennian, a venture scale technology company. In the community, Josh is a board member of the Highbanks Society, Enviros Wilderness School Association and Kids Up Front Calgary.

Josh holds an MBA in Finance and a BSc. Engineering.
