Mackinley May

Brass Instructor

Mackinley started his marching band journey with the Calgary Round-Up Band and worked his way through Stetsons and the Stampede Showband. He then went on to march two seasons in DCI. He did one season with the Madison Scouts and finished his marching career with Carolina Crown.

Mackinley has spent time teaching Round-Up, Stetsons, and Stampede in various capacities for roughly four years. He is ecstatic to return to teach the Brass section of the Showband after a four year hiatus from teaching due to his pursuit of post-secondary education outside of Calgary.
