Sheridyn Miller

Visual Instructor

Sheridyn began her involvement in Calgary’s marching community in 2015 as a member of the Calgary Round Up Band, Calgary Stetson Showband and then Calgary Stampede Showband until 2021. She found a passion for the marching arts, and began teaching with various organizations in the city in 2018. She was previously a visual coordinator with the Calgary Stetson Showband, and became a part of the visual instruction team with the Stampede Showband during the 2022-2023 season. Sheridyn particularly enjoys working with members on the field during the summer season, and teaching movement and dance-based techniques.

Outside of band, Sheridyn has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary, and she is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. She has an interest in working with pediatric and/or neurological populations, and hopes to continue translating her knowledge about the body and movement skills to her teaching within the program!
